New campaign fundraising numbers highlight just how much of a money advantage state attorney candidate Melissa Nelson has, despite her last-minute entrance into the race.
Nelson and her political committee have about $451,000 unspent, while State Attorney Angela Corey has $83,000 in the bank. Corey has also said she has a political committee, but her spokeswoman said she was “not commenting on a PAC at this time.”
